Boy Ipis will be starring in an upcoming webcomic by creator Paul Michael Ignacio. It’s set in an alternate universe and co-stars that reality’s version of Maskarado. The illustration above will serve as a “cover” for the story. I’ll be updating information as to where you can read this in the future. You can also click on the image above to enlarge it.

August 2011 will see the release of Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of Mystery: Graphic Classics Volume 21. This full-color companion to Graphic Classics: Edgar Allan Poe presents “The Murders in the Rue Morgue,” the story that invented the detective genre, as adapted by Antonella Caputo and Reno Maniquis. Also included are “The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar” illustrated by Michael Manning, “The Man of the Crowd” by Rich Rainey and Brad Teare, and “Berenice” by GC newcomer Nelson Evergreen.
The book will also showcase a new comics adaptation of “Hop-Frog” by Rod Lott and Lisa K. Weber, plus color versions of “King Pest” by Anton Emdin and “The Masque of the Red Death” by Stan Shaw. Also alternate interpretations of “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Oval Portrait” by Ronn Sutton and Craig Wilson. With a selection of poems illustrated by Molly Kiely, Roger Langridge, Leong Wan Kok, Neale Blanden and Maxon Crumb. Mysterious and horrifying.
I’m the artist for issue 10 of Zenescope’s Charmed comic (tentatively out on 05/25/11). I got the job by submitting the four tryout pages you see below, working from the script for Charmed #8…
